Weather-Proof Barrier System with Stainless Steel Posts
The newly-developed ABS Bordermark system is a mobile barrier system for protecting individuals working on flat roofs. Its mobility makes it extremely flexible. It can be used for marking the edge of the roof where there is an acute danger of falling and for areas surrounding domed rooflights or smoke and heat extraction systems.
The ABS Bordermark is manufactured completely from weather-proof materials. It can be left standing permanently on the roof surface and only requires very little maintenance. The chain is made of bright signal-colored light synthetic materials. It is used in combination with supporting posts that prevent the ABS Bordermark from falling over even in very strong winds.

The ABS Bordermark pedestals are made of a special environmentally-friendly synthetic material and have practical recessed grips for easy transport. There are six holes to choose from for the supporting posts making system set-up extremely flexible.
The ABS Bordermark posts are manufactured from stainless steel and are fitted with one to two ring eyelets and a plastic protective cap depending on the application.
Applications
The ABS Bordermark can be used to chain off danger zones. It is set up two meters from the edge. This renders it much more difficult to enter the zone where there is an acute danger of falling.

Openings & Warning Signs
If requested, the ABS Bordermark can be fitted with openings. A warning sign manufactured from high-quality aluminum is used to indicate that danger is present and points out that personal protective equipment and safety systems should be used. |
