ABS Lighting Conductor Clamp
with Bridging Cable for 6 and 8mm Cabling Systems

The ABS lightning conductor clamp with bridging cable allows you to connect up to your existing lightning conductor system using the 6 or 8mm stainless steel cable component of our ABS-Lock® SYS cabling systems.

More often than not a connection made between a lightning conductor system and a stainless steel cable requires a user to unhook and rehook. Cable gliders also need to be taken off in a cabling system using gliders. Our new clamp boasts a particularly slim design - permitting the ABS cable glider to run smoothly over the clamp without having to remove the glider.

Connecting up to the lightning conductor system
Excerpt from our Installation Manual:

As part of a safety system a fall protection cabling system must not be subject to direct lightning strikes. On roofs (flat roofs, double pitch roofs, metal roofs etc.) the fall protection cabling system must be integrated into the area protected from lightning strikes (lightning protection zone OB) in accordance with EN 62305-3 (VDE [German Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies] 0185-305-3).

The ABS lightning conductor clamp is simply pushed on and tightened up using 2 screws.

The slim design of the ABS lightning
conductor clamp allows cable gliders to run over it without the need to remove the gliders.
