ABS Safety Jacket (Harness)

The new ABS safety jacket is a real alternative to most popular harnesses. Traditional harnesses are often awkward to use – often it is not at all obvious to the user at first glance just how it should be fitted. The idea behind the new ABS safety harness is, therefore, really very simple:
The safety jacket is fitted with two convenient quick release fasteners and is made of reflective material. Even in moderate lighting conditions the wearer is still easily visible. The attachment eyelet on the back of the jacket is also fitted with a handy D-ring extender allowing the user to put on the jacket and still be able to hook up to the safety cable easily by simply reaching over his/her shoulder.

The ABS safety jacket is also fitted with an attachment eyelet at the front. This can be used, for example, to hook up to a vertical lifeline runner or to rescue someone following a fall. The safety jacket is rounded off by lots of convenient pockets for tools, a mobile phone or other utensils.
The ABS safety jacket concept increases user acceptance, preventing someone from using their PPE safety kit incorrectly – or not using it at all. Serious falls and accidents caused by slipping still often occur because someone has either not put on their protective equipment properly or not even bothered to use it.
