ABS is Expanding - Our New Construction Project 2011-2012

April 2011 - Ground-Breaking Ceremony at ABS Safety

ABS continues to expand: Our ground-breaking ceremony at the beginning of April marked the start of the construction project for our new hall and office building complex - and we shall be remaining true to our site in the Lower Rhine region: Our company is to expand by over 1,200 square meters - right next door to our current buildings located at the Gewerbering in Kevelaer. We are creating 650 square meters of additional warehouse space - with a further 600 square meters planned for offices.

Together with our architect, Christopher Davies-Garner of Weeze, we spent over a year fine tuning the construction plans. Now our building contractor, Christoph Stenmans of the Jansen & Stenmans company in Kevelaer, is to embark upon the implementation of the project.

The buildings have a state-of-the-art design and will make even more use of renewable energy in future - such as a heat pump system and energy-saving light sensors. We will be implementing a modern mobile racking system, our production facilities will be increased threefold - and on the roof there will be a display area where you can experience our fall arrest solutions for metal, steep and flat roofs really close up. Early 2012 - if all goes to plan - everything should be completed and we can move in and commence operations.

Overview - Before and After:
The area on the right, which is currently under construction, was an empty, fenced-in field next to the road which was not being used at all until our ground-breaking ceremony took place.
