October 20112 - Safe right to the very last rung: ABS SafetyHike® fall arrester system
The new ABS SafetyHike fall arrester system was also introduced in October. Unique feature: Contrary to all common fall arrester systems it does not only provide protection in the actual ladder zone. Our safety concept also incorporates climbing onto or leaving the roof surface. This is achieved by adjusting the protrusion accordingly. Our ABS SafetyHike complies with all requirements set down in EN 353-1 and RfU 11.073 of the Vertical Group (VG11).

October 2011 - The new ABS RailTrax® horizontal rail system
The introduction of the new ABS simple-to-install, low-price horizontal RailTrax® rail system coincided with the A+A Safety, Security and Health at Work exhibition in Düsseldorf. This fall protectionsystem is licensed in accordance with EN 795, class D, for simultaneous usage by 4 individuals. Fitted with a special rail glider the system allows smooth operation across roof surface.

September 2011 - The ABS lightning conductor clamp for 6 and 8mm cabling systems
The ABS lightning conductor clamp was designed to ensure that connecting up a lightning conductor system does not interfere with fall protection cabling systems installed to secure individuals. The clamp has a very slim design, allowing the ABS universal glider to traverse the connection point easily and smoothly - without the need to unhook from the safety system!

August 2011 - New and reasonably-priced: The ABS-Lock DH04
The new ABS-Lock® DH04 is a reasonably-priced roof safety hook manufactured completely from stainless steel. It combines the utmost in safety with maximum weather-resistance - at a fair price. It is licensed as an anchorage point for 3 individuals in accordance with EN 795, classes A+B, and EN 517, class B, thus providing the users with the freedom to move around all over the roof surface - including in the direction of the roof apex - and even ober and beyond.

July 2011 - Simple, Flexible Installation on Sloping Roofs

June 2011 - Simply Screw into Wood
Due to its special thread the new ABS-Lock® III-Wood can be mounted directly onto wooden rafters and does not require any additional clamps or countering. The Lock III-Wood is simply screwed into a pre-drilled hole and can be used straight away by 3 individuals simultaneously.

April 2011 - ABS is Expanding: Ground-Breaking Ceremony for Our New Building
Our ground-breaking ceremony marked the start of the construction project for our new hall and office building complex. We will be creating over 1,200 square meters of new office, production and warehouse space right next door to our current buidlings.

March 2011 - Innovation at Rooftop Level: Simply Fuse onto the Upper Roof Membrane Surface

February/March 2011 - New Lock X Base Plates for Roof Apex and Solar Panel Frames
Due to having a variety of different base plate options it has always been possible to mount the ABS-Lock® X on a wide range of substructures. Now the latest developments to emerge from the ABS Development Division have added two new mounting options to the list: A clamp to attach it directly to a solar panel frame (aluminum bar) and a standard angular base plate which can be mounted directly at the roof apex.
