Self-Supporting Aluminum Guard Rail
for Maintenance Work on Flat Roofs
The ABS Stabilik is a guard rail specially developed to protect workers on flat roofs or roof-top terraces - areas which may only be accessed for maintenance purposes and which are not generally accessible.
Its simplicity of design, component strength and easy installation process are what make our protection system, which is manufactured completely from high-quality aluminum, so very impressive.
The ABS Stabilik has been successfully tested and licensed in accordance with EN ISO 14122-3.
Implementation & Features
The ABS Stabilik is not only suitable for new buildings but is also ideal for implementation on existing and/or older buildings where subsequently installing a permanent system using dowels could prove difficult - or where the roof membrane would have to be opened up.
Installing an ABS Stabilik
The installation principle illustrated below applies to both systems - with straight or rounded supports. Both models can be enhanced to include a skirting rail as set down in the respective standards if there is no parapet - or if this is lower than 100mm:
