Stainless steel rail system for securing 4 individuals
designed for horizontal roof, wall and overhead usage

The new ABS-RailTrax® rail system is a fall arrest system for individuals, consisting of a solid stainless steel rail and a rail glider.

The rail system, manufactured completely from stainless steel, provides you with maximum convenience at a price which you can afford. The simplicity of design, robustness of the components and minimal effort required to install the ABS RailTrax® are impressive.

Licensed according to DIN EN 795, class D, this rail system fulfils the highest European safety standards.


Material
The stainless steel guide rail has a T section design, allowing the ABS RailTrax® rail glider to glide smoothly over the intermediate brackets. The glider itself is made of high quality V4A steel which means it can be used in the vicinity of salt water or indoor pools.
 
 

Properties & implementation
The rail is supplied in standard 3 meter long sections with bore holes at each end. These allow easy connection of the sections using an intermediate bracket letting you quickly create longer stretches of rail. The rail system can either be interrupted when you get to a corner or a curve or can be led around these using custom-made curve rails.

  
Installation
Both ends of the rail system are firmly fixed to the substructure using special brackets. The end bracket also serves as a terminal for the rail glider. By removing the rear bolt the stopper can be tipped backwards. This allows you to attach the ABS RailTrax® rail glider - or to remove it from the rail if necessary.

 

Ground installation
The ABS RailTrax® system is always installed horizontally. The rail can be installed directly on the concrete substructure using handy drive-on dowels.
Lateral installation
The ABS RailTrax® rail system can also be installed along a wall, e.g. on concrete cladding or steel girders.

 

Overhead installation
The ABS RailTrax® is ideally suited for installation as an overhead rail system. The system is normally usually attached to steel girders or concrete beams. Used in combination with a vertical lifeline of sufficient length, the system provides optimal protection for users along the whole stretch of rail - without their having to continually unhook and rehook - resulting in unrestricted freedom of movement and unlimited convenience.
  ABS RailTrax® glider:
The key to the high usability level of the ABS RailTrax® rail system is our special glider which is manufactured completely from V4A steel and is equipped with 4 smooth-running rollers. Our special roller design allows the ABS RailTrax® glider to glide along the guide rail with virtually no resistance at all - running smoothly over the intermediate brackets and rail joints and around the curve elements. The integrated anchor eyelet rotates freely, allowing work to be carried out on both sides of the rail without the worker having to unhook and rehook.
